Passcode: 611623

The CRAHTAC Agenda is available at the link below.

Agenda Item Vlll c. is the Multi-Use Trail Policy discussion and will result in a CRAHTAC recommendation to allow -one, -two, or more users on trails in Santa Barbara County in lieu of the currently accepted (but not OFFICIAL POLICY) requirement for Multi-use trails (i.e. All users must be allowed on ALL trails).

Equestrian trail riders must fight for this recommendation, or we will lose Live Oak Trail as the last equestrian trail in the County. A Trail Policy Citizen Letter is included at the link below for your use. Please feel free to edit the letter however you wish.

Please send your letter/email as YOUR PUBLIC COMMENT to George Amoon at george@gkaconsulting.com by 5:00 pm, Thursday, June 8th to allow adequate time for review before the meeting.

Upcoming Events!!!

June is heating up to be a real challenge for all of us that are fighting to keep Live Oak for equestrian trail riding. Meetings are scheduled at the Planning Commission and a joint CRAHTAC/Parks Commission at the end of the month and will require a strong presence from our equestrian community.

Next week look for an announcement of ways you can help out to prepare before, attend during and keep going after these meetings and please, please, please consider helping out in any way you can. We will try and keep things easy and simple. Any actions you take help us become united and your efforts always make a difference. As always, thank you for your ongoing support!
